Join the Fest—Volunteer with Oktoberfest Pendleton!

Oktoberfest Pendleton invites your organization to submit a proposal for consideration to receive a donation from event proceeds.

Since 2015, Oktoberfest Pendleton has supported the community by awarding 15 scholarships and providing financial assistance to 22 local organizations. Our mission is to create a fun, engaging event that gives back to the community.

Donation amounts vary each year and are influenced by several factors, including:

• Number of volunteers provided 
• Event attendance 
• Weather conditions 

A successful event depends heavily on volunteer support, and we rely on participating organizations to help make this possible.

Volunteer Expectations

The event requires coverage across multiple shifts, typically scheduled in approximately 4-hour increments:

• Friday:     1 shift (event setup) 
• Saturday (Event Day):     3 shifts 
• Sunday:     1 shift (clean-up) 

Each participating organization is expected to:

• Provide volunteers for each shift 
• Supply approximately 20–30 volunteers total 

Oktoberfest Pendleton will provide a sign-up schedule allowing volunteers to select preferred time slots. Some flexibility may be required to ensure all positions are adequately staffed. The schedule is designed to distribute volunteers across multiple organizations to meet event needs.

Proposal Review Criteria

During the review process, the following factors will be considered:

• Organization Overview
      What is your organization? 
• Community Impact
      How does your organization serve the community?
      How will the funds be used? 
• Volunteer Commitment
      Can your organization provide at least 20 volunteers? 
• Volunteer Eligibility & Roles
      Do you have volunteers who are 18 years or older and able to assist      with: 
  • Serving food 
  • Pouring beer 
  • Selling merchandise and tickets 
  • Filling other roles as needed
